These terms apply to your use of this website and to your purchase of The California RCFE Startup Kit (the "Kit"), sold by RCFE University, operated by Jas Singh. By using the site or buying the Kit, you agree to these terms.
The product
The Kit is a digital educational product: an online course, a PDF guide, an editable Excel workbook, printable worksheets, and a free checklist. The price is shown at checkout (currently $97 USD, one-time, not a subscription). Access is delivered online right after payment is confirmed.
License
When you buy, you get a personal, non-transferable license to use the Kit for your own planning. Please don't resell, publicly post, or share the course, files, or your private access link. You may print copies for your own use and share filled-in worksheets with your own advisors (attorney, CPA, lender, contractor).
Educational only; no professional advice
The Kit summarizes official California sources (including the California Health & Safety Code §1569 et seq. and Title 22 CCR Division 6, Chapter 8) as read on October 7, 2026. It is not legal, tax, financial, insurance, employment, or licensing advice, and it is not a CDSS-approved orientation, administrator certification program, or continuing education course. Laws, regulations, forms, and fees change. You are responsible for verifying every requirement with the California Department of Social Services Community Care Licensing Division, your local planning and building departments, your fire authority, and qualified professionals. RCFE University is not affiliated with or endorsed by CDSS.
No guarantee of results
Financial figures in the Kit are clearly labeled example assumptions, not market data, quotes, predictions, or promises. Opening and running a care home involves real financial and legal risk. We don't guarantee any license approval, timeline, occupancy, income, or other outcome.
Payments and refunds

No agency relationship
Buying the Kit does not create an agency or brokerage relationship, and the Kit does not include real estate services of any kind.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Kit and site are provided "as is," and our total liability for any claim relating to them is limited to the amount you paid for the Kit. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, including decisions you make about property, leases, licensing, staffing, or investments.
Changes and governing law
We may update the site, the Kit, and these terms; the version posted when you buy applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
